For the Enigmail preferences, I prefer for now:
* Enigmail Preferences
** Automatically send encrypted: if possible
* Account settings
** Encrypt messages by default: no
** Sign messages by default: yes
** Use PHP/MIME by default: yes
** sign non-encrypted messages: yes
** sign encrypted messages: yes
