Data you might want to backup

  • ThunderBird Junk Training data, under %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\ are folders, one of them has the wanted "training.dat"
  • FireFox Bookmarks, Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / Import and Backup
    • Backup, restore will DESTROY your current bookmarks and use the data from the file instead
    • Export Bookmarks to Html, restore will add the bookmarks from the file to your current bookmarks
  • ssh
    • %USERPROFILE%\.ssh\authorized_keys
    • %USERPROFILE%\.ssh\config
  • VoiceAttack, %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\VoiceAttack\VoiceAttack.dat
  • Windows Voice Training Data, WsrProfile or SpProfileMgr (check for viruses!) are tools from Microsoft to backup/restore this data. Microsoft deleted all possibilities to download these tools from their site. No idea why. It is insane.
